While I was playing music through iPod app in my iPhone 3GS, I felt that the sound quality is not so good. I thought to adjust the equalizer settings to make the sound much better. But, I can’t find the settings on the app for that. In what way can I accomplish this?

As a first step, press the ‘Home’ button located at the front part of your iPhone. When the home page becomes visible on the screen, tap the ‘Settings’ icon over there. From the list of basic settings options, hit the ‘iPod’ option for getting into the iPod settings. Locate ‘EQ’ option from those settings and make a single tap over it. You can then view different types of EQ presets afterwards. Listen to each of them and check how it changes the sound of the songs. By the time you find a preset which suits to your need, tap over it. Finally, save the changes made on iPhone by pressing the ‘Home’ button.
